Heart to Heart with Anna: A Show for the Congenital Heart Defect Community is very excited to announce several volunteer internships that are now available! It takes a lot of work to make a radio show a success. We’ve just completed our 30th show and we’re gearing up for another great season. Would you like to be part of the dynamic group of people who will make this show a success?

Do you know people in the congenital heart defect community? Do you like talking with people, networking, brainstorming great topics for shows and interacting with people and technology? You might be the perfect for the Radio Broadcast Intern — Assistant Producer!

Are you very creative and enjoy getting the word out about something new and great?! Do you have marketing experience or a degree in business? Are you willing to learn new things? How do you feel about working with technology to get the word out about what we’re doing with Heart to Heart with Anna: A Show for the Congenital Heart Defect Community? If you think you’d like to help with marketing, then let us know you’d like to apply for the Marketing Intern position!

Do you like helping people make a difference? There are so many people who would love to contribute to a worth cause but who don’t really know what a difference their money can make. If you feel comfortable with research and identifying sponsors for the radio show, then the Nonprofit Fundraising Intern position is perfect for you!

Maybe you’re not sure what you’d like to do, but you want to help and you would like to be available to help where needed. If you don’t mind helping Guests, the producers or the other volunteers, then the Radio Broadcast Intern position could be just right for you. It would give you a chance to learn about the other positions with an opportunity to move to one of those positions in the future.

All positions have various qualifications but the major personality traits we’re looking for are people who are: creative, self-motivated, dependable, have great communication skills (oral and written standard English) and have good problem solving skills. If you want to be part of a team that educates and empower others in the congenital heart defect community, then join our team! Don’t worry; training will be provided.
