Sharisse Roberts

Sharisse Roberts has experienced many miracles in her life. She is extremely blessed to be able to work full time as an Orientation & Mobility Instructor for people with visual impairments and blindness while raising her two young daughters, Belle Mackenzie and Shiloh Dakota, with her partner, Daniel. Both of her children have seen a cardiologist around birth, but Shiloh’s prenatal detection of her heart defect and further cardiac care have made her a miracle. Within Shiloh’s first five weeks of life, she was able to have less invasive methods performed on her heart at All Children’s Hospital. Over the past two years, her heart has been able to grow and relax, and is now within normal limits. Sharisse and her family recently relocated from Florida to Maine and Shiloh now receives cardiac care at Boston Children’s. They have confirmed that Shiloh’s outcome is a miracle for her defect, Pulmonary Atresia (Intact Ventricular Septum) with a hypoplastic right ventricle and a patent foramen ovale or atrial septal defect. Shiloh continues to amaze her family/friends as well as the general public when they find out about her journey and her defect.
