Lori M. Jones
Lori M. Jones is a writer of women’s and children’s fiction in the Pittsburgh area. She is the author of children’s book, Riley’s Heart Machine inspired by her younger daughter’s heart defect. Her second children’s book, Confetti the Croc, and her first novel, Renaissance of the Heart, were released in 2014.
Lori serves on the Board of Directors for the Children’s Heart Foundation and is president of the Pennsylvania Chapter. She has served as co-chair to Pittsburgh’s Congenital Heart Walks for the past three years and was the 2013 winner of the Philadelphia Eagles Community Quarterback Award.
She visits schools in the Pittsburgh area delivering assemblies on writing, on the human heart and embracing what makes us special. Her website can be found at www.lorimjones.com.
She resides in Wexford with her husband Mark, two daughters, Sydney and Riley, and dog Disco. She enjoys running 5Ks and cheering on her Pittsburgh sports teams!
