Katina Robalino

Katina Robalino is a mom of three beautiful girls, Anastacia, Katalina and Elena Zoe,

Katalina and Elena Zoe were both born with congenital heart defects. Katalina was born

with a ventricular septal defect (or VSD) and Elena Zoe had tricuspid atresia with

pulmonary stenosis (or hypoplastic right heart syndrome). Katalina had her surgery

when she was 15 months old on July 22, 2014. Katalina is fighting some leaking issues

and possible repair in the future. Elena Zoe had numerous issues — she had the shunt

procedure leading her to be on life-support because of unpredicted coronary issues. This

qualified her to be a transplant patient. On June 19, 2015 Elena Zoe was successfully

transplanted and is now home and doing well. The Robalino family now fights for

awareness on congenital heart defects and helps raise organ donation awareness. We

help raise funds for COTA (children organ transplant association) in honor of Elena Zoe.
