Jackie Renfrow

Jackie Renfrow is a wife, mother and grandmother who works full time. Members of her

family had been diagnosed with epilepsy. On April 15, 2000, Jackie received a phone call

that her son Jimmy was having a seizure. Sadly, Jimmy didn’t survive the seizure. His

17-year-old daughter was 2 years old when he died.  Jackie worried that there was something wrong with her daughter Crissy, too, so she asked the doctors to test her. Nothing was found and Crissy became pregnant with her daughter Jessica who was born November 23, 2001.  After giving birth Crissy began having seizures. On July 25, 2002 Crissy was rushed to the hospital having a seizure. She didn’t survive and passed away at the young age of 21.  Jessica was only 8 months old but now she is 14 years old.
