After his three year old daughter fighting with CHD left them, Farhan Ahmad, Chief Technology Officer of a Microsoft Gold Partner Company in Pakistan, embarked on a new journey. In 2012, he marked the inception of Pakistan Children Heart Foundation (PCHF). Serving as the Chief Executive Officer of PCHF, his vision is to establish Pakistan’s first Children’s Heart Hospital & Research Institute for children born with Congenital Heart Defects (CHDs). Currently, his establishment caters financially supported surgeries for underprivileged patients and educates the public about heart defects at large. His organization has financed more than 100 surgeries for children born with heart defects.
