Dr. Wilson Lam
Wilson Lam is a board certified cardiologist who specializes in adult congenital cardiology and rhythm disorders. A native Houstonian, he graduated from Rice University and obtained his entire medical training at Baylor College of Medicine, completing residency in combined internal medicine and pediatrics and fellowships in adult cardiovascular diseases, pediatric cardiology, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. Although he manages various cardiac issues, his primary focus is caring for adult patients with congenital heart disease who also have rhythm disorders such as palpitations, passing out, or sudden death. He is experienced in antiarrhythmic medications, cardiac implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators, and catheterablations for challenging rhythm issues. He has presented at local and national conferences. Other interests include medical
education and use of technology in novel arenas. Dr. Lam serves as assistant professor
and associate program director for the internal medicine residency program at Baylor
College of Medicine
